We would like have the standard field "Sample source" to be shown in the grid

These two buttons are small and very close to each other, and it's easy to hit the wrong one.

We currently use the "required" option on user-defined fields to make some fields compulsory for sample entry. We use the "Sample Group" function to link a sample to a particular study/trial and like the functions associated with sample groups....

As part of the Workflow module, have colour-coded states that can be assigned to Sample Sources the same way as for Samples. Under "Samples, Groups and Sources", there would now be an option for "Sample Sources by State".

Or at the very least, show the list in alphabetical order. It would also be nice to be able to delete an entry rather than just disable because disabled entries still show up in the list, even if they can't be selected.
