If you search with a list of barcodes, you aren't able to edit those samples in the tab. The best you can do is export a report of those vials as .cvs. From there you make your edits externally and use the file to update your samples via an import.

Currently there is no way to auto-populate sample slots in boxes. If you could auto-populate sample slots by clicking and dragging (like in Microsoft Excel), this would help speed up the user experience.
