Why has this issue still not been fixed? There is zero utility to have sample source UDF when you can't update them or even view them for most of the materials. The only work around is updated new Sample sources and reassigned which defeats the purpose.
The sample source has a UID and thus should be able to be updated in the UDF but the software doesn't allow it. WHY
Thank you Jennifer for pointing out that the excel add-inn is working again. Unfortunately, by now we have implemented all our workflows without the excel plugin. Therefore it would still be great to have this update feature availabel out of the system for csv files.
Especially as the ExcelAddOn can not be used for the "cloud users". At least we could never managed to get it running. Thus the only way for us is to do it one by one (impossible if you have to update several hundreds) or via the RestAPI which is lot's of programming work to get such a simple task done. So this would be a huge improovment for us.
Yes, this would be helpful too, as often we don't have all the information for all the UDFs associated with the sample source when we add it and would need to go back and update them later.

The excel add-in will work for cloud FreezerPro as of release 7.5.1. This is a good way to update sample sources in bulk.

This is a feature I would use a lot, and could really do with right now!
Yes, we need the ability to update Sample Sources via CSV file. It is awkward to update through the Excel AddOn.
