MS SQL 2005 is EOL and 2008/2008R2 will be EOL come July 2019. Also it has been almost 2 years for MS SQL 2017

At our institution, the main sample types that we need to distinguish between are zoology samples and entomology samples - an insect icon would be really useful to show this.

If someone temporarily leaves the company, it should be possible to transfer the certain samples temporarily to someone else and after a certain time back again

While putting sample back into freezer currently, there is only a possibility to update volume. It would be helpful if expiry date can also be updated in such a manner .

There should be posssibility of zoom in box view. Now that view is too small for some users.

No text wrapping in box view when text is connected by that symbol "_". when there is space " " or "-" connection wrapping is ok. In my opinion "_" should work the same as "-".

We currently use the "required" option on user-defined fields to make some fields compulsory for sample entry. We use the "Sample Group" function to link a sample to a particular study/trial and like the functions associated with sample groups....
