When importing numbers, blanks should not be turned into zero's, but should remain as missing data.

This data is missing, because for example the volume is unknown. The volume might have not been recorded in the past. However, that does not mean that the volume is 0 and thus that the vial is empty. This will result in completely wrong assumptions.

I understand this can be annoying when FreezerPro wants to calculate the total volume of samples. But we should then judge that number as showing the volume that is at least there.

It is better to be incomplete than inaccurate.
