Currently, the default time format is 00:00 - 24:00hr
This format does not conform with ISO 8601 which establishes Time [hh]:[mm]:[ss] It is not possible to change the current Time format in the UDF software. In research, participant/patient samples may be taken over a number of minutes i.e. 30, 60, 90, 120, 360 etc and not at a specific time. To circumvent this problem, the user must define a new UDF of time but add a 'Help Text' in the UDF field options to explain that 02:00 is sample taken after 120 minutes and not at 02:00am!
In an experimental context, 'Number' UDF would work but where 'Time' is a function of the sample data, implementation of ISO 8601 embeds the best practice standards as an integral function of FreezerPro itself.
Thank you for your idea. We are looking at how the time field works for a future release. Reading your comment, however, I wonder if using the Number udf would work to specify the time.
