FreezerPro allows access permissions to be set on sample type level. Still, samples with sample types that are not accessible for your group may be visible in search results if they are placed in a freezer that you have access to. In this case, no details can be seen - only basic information such as Sample name, description, and Sample Source.
However, any of these fields may contain sensitive information that should not be visible for other groups.
A possible scenario would be that two labs share one freezer, and even place holders such as racks and boxes.
The permission system based on sample type would allow for this, but searches on common values (such as part of a sample name) would result in samples and information in the list view that should not be visible.
Suggestion: Let the access permission be based on sample type only (or any other group definition on sample level) and not on their freezer location.
