When creating a new sample and want to add a sample source, the real-time search will replace the search string with the first hit. If you for example want to see if the Sample Source Name -20090328- exists and enter -2009,- and there is a another Sample Source Name -20052009- in the system, the search string -2009- will be replaced by -20052009-. This is very confusing and can lead to users choosing the wrong Sample Source if they're not very observant. It would make more sense if the entered search string remains the same and only the listed hits change. As it is now, we have to advice our users not to use the real-time search at all because it's too risky.
