Custom Derivative Tag per Sample Type

This feature for customizable derivatives (introduced with 7.4.2) is a great feature, but wouldn’t it be better if the customization was set for each Sample Type instead of per aliquoting template? The current settings do not apply to manually created derivatives (copy a vial and right click an empty well to create a derivative) and there is also a risk that multiple aliquoting templates are available for the same sample type, which is bound to cause issues when the setting can be arbitrarily applied to each aliquoting template separately.
