Sometimes it would be good if it was possible to earmark, or reserve, certain samples and lock them from being moved or added to a pick list. For example, if I handle multiple studies and one of these studies require at least 2 samples (vials) to be left in the freezer while all other samples can be freely picked and used. If samples can be earmarked as mandatory (or similar) that would help me not to pick them by mistake. Perhaps there could be an extra prompt asking me to authorize that these specific samples are to be exempt from the rule if I attempt to use them.
