We are trying to improve a workflow and need to be able get a list of all plates (boxes) associated with a given project. We try to achieve this by creating a UDF for samples to associate them with the project, then use =advanced_search= to later request all samples matching that UDF.

Unfortunately, the reply does not include location and the only way I could find to get that was to use =sample_info=. However, since =sample_info= does not take arrays I would then need to run one query / sample which is obviously not feasible.

So, I was wondering if by any chance you have a better idea how to achieve tagging samples and fetching all locations they are in, or if we could request a change to =advanced_search= such that it included location, location-id and/or location barcode in the response? Additionally/alternatively, vectorizing ={sample,location}_info= could also be a solution.
